Delete only whatyou want gone.

You can ask us to delete specific categories of data without closing your GORydz Freight account. Pick the category, tell us, and we'll handle it.

How to request a partial deletion

Email us from the address on your GORydz Freight account. We acknowledge within 2 business days and complete the deletion within the retention windows shown below.

In your email, include:

  • The email address on your GORydz Freight account
  • Whether you're a rider or driver
  • Which categories you want deleted (you can list multiple)

What you can delete

Each category includes what it covers and how long it takes to process.

Trip history

List of past trips with pickup/drop-off points, fares, and timestamps.

Trips are anonymized (linked to a sentinel record) rather than deleted, because U.S. tax law requires the platform to retain financial transaction records for 7 years.

Saved addresses

Home, work, and other places you saved for faster booking.

Deleted within 7 days of request.
You can also delete individual saved addresses inside the app.

Profile photo

The photo you uploaded for your profile.

Deleted within 7 days of request.
You can also remove your profile photo directly in the app under Profile → Edit Profile.

In-app chat messages

Auto-translated messages exchanged with drivers/shippers during trips.

Deleted within 30 days of request, except where required for a pending safety investigation.

Saved payment methods

Stripe-tokenized cards you saved for one-tap booking.

Removed within 7 days. The corresponding token at Stripe is also revoked.
You can also remove individual payment methods inside the app under Settings → Payment Methods.

Push notification token

Firebase Cloud Messaging token used to send push notifications to your device.

Cleared within 24 hours of request; you will stop receiving notifications until you re-enable them.
You can also turn off push notifications in your device's system settings.

What we can't delete on request

A small amount of data is legally required to stay. We'll confirm this when we respond to your request.

  • Financial transaction records — U.S. tax law requires the platform to keep payment records for 7 years. We anonymize them instead of deleting.
  • Records under active safety review — if a trip is part of an open safety, fraud, or law-enforcement investigation, we hold the relevant data until the matter is resolved.
  • Stripe-side records — Stripe is the payment processor and keeps a separate copy of payment records under their own PCI-DSS and tax retention rules. See Stripe's privacy notice for details.
